A la fin des années 60, Jean Marmillon décide de créer son entreprise de lunetterie C’est en plein cœur de cette magnifique région, et plus spécifiquement à Clairvaux-les-Lacs, que s’est installéel’entreprise AF OPTIC. L’entreprise familiale, créée par Jean Marmillon, est aujourd’hui dirigée par son fils, Franck. Toutes les montures en acétate sont fabriquées grâce à une méthode artisanale, mais adaptée aux besoins actuels. Franck Marmillon s’est en effet équipé de toutes les commandes numériques nécessaires. « Nous sommes spécialisés dans les mélanges de couleurs, ce qui engendre beaucoup de travail manuel ». L’entreprise réalise également des modèles exclusifs en petites, moyennes et grandes séries.
